Child Birth Preparation Class

I teach a natural approach to child birth, while still educating about the interventions and medications that may be used in a hospital setting. So even couples who desire a natural child birth will feel at ease when discussing possible changes to their birth requests.

In discussing the interventions, medications, and procedures, all benefits, risks, and alternatives will be discussed so you and your partner may make an informed decision as to the care that will be best for you and your family. During every class, you’ll find answers to questions such as:

  • How does the baby come out?
  • How will I know it's the right time?
  • What happens in labor?
  • What will my body be doing throughout labor?
  • What will I be feeling during labor?
  • How can I make it more comfortable?
  • What pain relief options do I have?
  • What does the hospital have to help me if there is a problem?
  • How does a C-section work?
  • How can I help make my recovery better?
